Appeals Procedure for Denial of Financial Aid

Medical Students who are denied financial aid are entitled to an explanation for the denial. The first step for a student to determine why s/he is being denied aid is to make an appointment with the Director of Financial Aid to discuss the situation in detail. Should the Director deny the student's appeal for financial aid, the student may appeal to the Vice Provost for Student Affairs, Health Science Campus, for a final decision. The appeal must occur within two weeks of receipt of the denial from the Director of Financial Aid.
