Our Select University Partners
A streamlined path to your future in Occupational Therapy.
If you're currently enrolled at one of our select partner universities, you may be eligible to apply to The University of Toledo’s Occupational Therapy Doctorate (O.T.D.) Program a year early, during your junior year of college.
Many early applicants tell us how much peace of mind it brings to have their graduate school plans locked in before senior year. It allows them to focus on completing their undergraduate studies and preparing for the next chapter of their education.
Why Your School?
We’ve carefully chosen our university partners because they offer strong undergraduate programs that align with our prerequisites and because their students have consistently thrived in our O.T.D. program. If you're attending one of these institutions, it means we already believe in your potential.
Early Admission Advantages
Apply early. Secure your spot. Finish strong.
Students at our partner schools can apply to the UToledo O.T.D. Program in their junior year. Your application will be evaluated based on:
- Overall GPA
- Grades in prerequisite courses completed so far
- Admissions essays
- Relevant experience
- Letters of recommendation
If accepted, your seat in the program will be reserved until the fall following your undergraduate graduation. To formally enroll, you’ll need to submit your final transcript showing that you:
- Completed all prerequisite courses with a B- or better
- Graduated with a minimum 3.0 GPA
