MSBS-MS Medical Sciences: How to Apply
THE APPLICATION CYCLE FOR FALL 2023 IS NOW OPEN!
When and how do I apply to the MSBS-Medical Sciences program?
Due to the characteristics of the curriculum, students start the MSBS-MS program in the FALL SEMESTER ONLY. The application cycle for Fall 2023 is now open and will close in early July 20th of 2023 or when class capacity is reached, whichever happens first. The application deadline is subject to change without notice. Early submission of a complete application is strongly recommended. Review of applications that are completed after the deadline or once class capacity is reached is not guaranteed. The MSBS-MS Program admits students for one admission cycle only. There is no deferred admissions or waiting list.
If you would like to apply, go to apply.utoledo.edu. Select the Application Type: “Graduate App,” enter in all the requested information. Select from the Program of Study drop down box – “MSBS – Medical Sciences”
Note: If you have previously applied to the MD degree program at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences and wish to re-apply while completing the MSBS-MS program, you will need to submit a new application to the medical school.

Where do i send admission materials such as letters of recommendations, transcripts, scores, etc.?
Please visit the Graduate School Website (below) as we cannot transfer any admission documents.
Submission of FULL MCAT Scores

Scores can be submitted through online application as a PDF under resume or other section. Per UTCOM admissions requirements, the MCAT exam should have been taken no earlier than December, three years prior to the expected matriculation year to UTCOM (https://www.utoledo.edu/med/md/admissions/) Submission of Full MCAT Score Report – The full MCAT score report (showing AAMC ID and Verification Code) can be submitted through the online application as a PDF under the resume/other section. After an application is submitted, you may submit this report to graduateonlineapplication@utoledo.edu. |

Must be mailed by the institution to the College of Graduate Studies office, or delivered by the applicant in an envelope sealed by the institution. |
Letters of Recommendation (minimum of 1 letter for MSBS-MS applicants) |

What if I have already applied to The University of Toledo medical school?
Applying to the MSBS Medical Sciences Program will have no influence on the status or outcome of your current UToledo medical school application.
