How to find an academic tutor?
The Learning Enhancement Center (LEC) will provide you general academic support to build academic skills and tutoring in many subjects. The LEC offers in-person and online tutoring. The Writing Center supports student writers in all disciplines.
Tutoring - Learning Enhancement Center
The Learning Enhancement Center (LEC) provides all University of Toledo undergraduate students with accessible, professional, academic support services to enhance student success and retention. The LEC offers FREE tutoring in math, science, engineering, and statistics, as well as academic coaching and workshops. Learn more about the LEC.
All tutoring services are provided in person during fall and spring semesters, and both in person and online during the summer. Students can access online tutoring services on the LEC website. To schedule online tutoring, students click “Online Tutoring” on the LEC homepage. Supplemental instruction (SI)

Writing Center
The Writing Center assists all University of Toledo students on a variety of writing projects in any subject and at any point in the writing process. Writing Center Consultants provide feedback to help students generate ideas, organize thoughts, and clarify main points in addition to helping with the revision process. Online Writing Support - Synchronous (existing or occurring at the same time) or asynchronous (not existing or occurring at the same time) appointments are available for students to schedule. Student-Athlete Support Services
The Student-Athlete Support Services office (SASS) provides a variety of services to assist student-athletes with their academic progress. Services include guidance with course scheduling, targeting (a time management program), study table, making appointments with appropriate university offices, individual/group tutoring, and academic and career counseling. A SASS professional staff member is assigned to coordinate academic support services for each sport program.
