- Rename yourself with your name and company (ie: John Smith – ABC Company) so other guests and ESSPS Admins know who you are
- Links will be sent the week before as a series of calendar invites with notes specific to that portion of the event
Food
- Online guests will be fed and focused using an e-allowance from the ESSPS Grubhub
- Online guests will receive an email from Grub Hub to access their e-allowance
Flow – only elements with online pieces are included below
Assignment Schedule
Assignment Schedules are used so sponsors know when and where they are judging, buying, at career fair, who they are coaching/interviewing, when they are facilitating a development block, etc. Faculty can see when they are judging, and students can see who they have for coaching/interviewing and development blocks. Personal schedules are available week prior. All content is in Launchpad.
Customer Service
Help is available throughout via student workers (wearing gold t-shirts), 419-530-6133, and edwardschmidtschool@utoledo.edu
Orientation
Online participants will watch the same orientation as onsite participants and be able to ask questions as the orientations will also stream via Teams webinar.
Development Blocks
- Online presenters/panelists are allowed via Teams as long as the company has at least 1 onsite participant in the development block
- Blocks will be held in fully mediated classrooms in Savage Business (SB), Stranahan Hall (ST), or Student Union (SU)
- It is recommended that onsite presenters have their content accessible via an online drive or USB
- Presenters may use their own laptop if their company does not have any online presenters/panelists and if they are bringing their own HDMI adapters if their laptop does not have a HDMI port
Role Play - Judging
- Online judges must have previous UTISC, ISC, or university national sales competition judging experience and a good track record of being timely and attentive
- Sponsor must have at least 3 onsite participants
- Link for online judge eval will also be emailed and in calendar invite
- Online judges will login to Launchpad to access the CARLOS Judge Score Entry link and then enter a password for CARLOS so they can access the eval
- Each room in each round will be its own Teams stream/link. Editing will need to be done after the event to cut the round into individual role plays.
- Each role play room will have a Communication Specialist who will:
- Type in the Chat to let judges know which round and seller to bring up in CARLOS Judge Score Entry
- Make calls (or texts) to guests as needed to help get them ready (and send emails as needed)
- Communication Specialists will also handle further internal communications between Floats, Leads, etc to address issues if/as needed
- Online judges are expected to type in the Teams Webinar Chat to let the Communication Specialist know that they are present and have the right round and seller loaded on their score sheet - "Recruiter Ralph from Company ABC is ready for Suzy Seller."
