Based on the philosophy of Vince Lombardi's quote, "Leaders aren't born, they are made and they are made just like anything else, through hard work," Levis Leadership is a selective program that enhances and nurtures the leadership development of its students over the course of four years. The purpose of the program is to provide the selected group of students with leadership education and training which provides limitless possibilities for growth and development.

About Levis Leadership

We believe leadership is a journey rather than a destination. Each year, approximately 40 incoming freshmen, out of hundreds of applicants, are selected for this experiential scholarship program and have the opportunity to participate in up to four years of leadership development. Students in the program not only earn a $1,000 scholarship in their first year and $750 per year for three additional years, but they also gain critical leadership skills and abilities through a classroom experience during their first year and meetings/projects during their second, third, and fourth years. The Levis Leadership program helps develop leaders across all majors. Levis students will receive mentorship and guidance from student facilitators throughout all four years of the experience. While there is a significant time commitment incorporated into this leadership program, the student participants will graduate from the program with incredible leadership abilities and lifelong friends!
