FAFSA

While completing the FAFSA, you will be asked if you would like to use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool.  The U.S. Internal Revenue Service stores previously filed 2015 tax information that can be electronically retrieved to complete your FAFSA in the event you do not have your 2015 tax returns readily available. Effective with the 2017-2018 FAFSA, the 2015 tax data can be used instead of 2016 tax returns that are not filed yet.
