Please use the Loan Change Form available through your MyUT Portal as a link in the
Student Tab and under the ‘My Financial Aid’ heading

Download a paper loan change form here.
GRAD PLUS LOAN INFORMATION
You cannot accept the Grad Plus loan through your My UT Portal. This loan type requires a separate application at www.studentaid.gov
If you are applying for the Grad Plus loan for a specific term, you will need to change the loan period dates on the Grad Plus loan application on studentaid.gov. The application defaults to a Fall/Spring Loan.
The 2022-23 loan period dates are as follows:
- Fall/Spring: Aug 2022 - May 2023 (Default)
- Summer Only: May 2022- Aug 2022
- Fall Only: Aug 2022 - Dec 2022
- Spring Only: Jan 2023 - May 2023
- Summer/Fall/Spring: May 2022 - May 2023 (All three terms, amount split equally)
The Graduate Plus Loan application for 2023-24 will not be available until mid-late April 2023.

2023-2024 Loan Disbursement Dates for Medical Students
- M1:
Fall: Week of July 31st, 2023
Spring: Week of January 3rd, 2024 - M2:
Summer: Week of July 12th, 2023
Fall: Week of September 18th, 2023
Spring: Week of January 8th, 2024 - Summer Billing Information:
- For M3s and M4s: The summer 2023 payment due date is May 5, 2023.
- For M2s: The summer 2023 payment due date is June 28th, 2023.
- For all classes: If you have enough in loans to cover your full balance due, and have accepted them through your My UT Portal and completed all other requirements, your bill will be paid on the disbursement date listed above, without penalty. If you do not plan to borrow loans to cover your full balance due, please make the required payment by the summer due date to avoid a $100 late fee on your account. Due dates for each term can be found on the Treasurer's Office webpage.
- M3:
Summer: Week of May 1st, 2023
Fall: Week of July 27th, 2023
Spring: Week of February 5th, 2024 - M4:
Summer: Week of May 1st, 2023
Fall: Week of August 21st, 2023
Spring: Week of January 22nd, 2024 - *If you are registered for Flex Time at the beginning of any term, your aid will not disburse until you begin a course or clerkship for that term. In that case, the disbursement date will be later than listed above.

If you are expecting a refund, please allow 3-5 days from the disbursement date for the direct deposit to reach your bank account.
