Please use the Loan Change Form available through your MyUT Portal on the Student
Tab under the ‘My Financial Aid’ heading

GRAD PLUS LOAN INFORMATION
You cannot accept the Grad Plus loan through your My UT Portal. This loan type requires a separate application at www.studentaid.gov
If you are applying for the Grad Plus loan for a specific term, you will need to change the loan period dates on the Grad Plus loan application on studentaid.gov. The application defaults to a Fall/Spring Loan.
The loan period dates are as follows:
- Fall/Spring: Aug 2022 - May 2023 (Default)
- Summer Only: May 2022- Aug 2022
- Fall Only: Aug 2022 - Dec 2022
- Spring Only: Jan 2023 - May 2023
- Summer/Fall/Spring: May 2022 - May 2023 (All three terms, amount split equally)

2022-2023 Loan Disbursement Dates for Medical Students
- M1:
Fall: August 1, 2022
Spring: January 4, 2023 - M2:
Summer: July 18, 2022
Fall: September 19, 2022
Spring: January 9, 2023 - Summer Billing Information:
- For M3s and M4s: The summer 2022 payment due date is May 5, 2022.
- For M2s: The summer 2022 payment due date is July 8, 2022.
- For all classes: If you have enough in loans to cover your full balance due, and have accepted them through your My UT Portal and completed all other requirements, your bill will be paid on the disbursement date listed above, without penalty. If you do not plan to borrow loans to cover your full balance due, please make the required payment by the summer due date to avoid a $100 late fee on your account. Due dates for each term can be found on the Treasurer's Office webpage.

Summer: May 2, 2022
Fall: July 28, 2022
Spring: February 6, 2023 - M4:
Summer: May 2, 2022
Fall: August 22, 2022
Spring: January 23, 2023 - *IF you are registered for Flex Time at the beginning of any term, your aid will not disburse until you begin a course or clerkship for that term. In that case the disbursement date will be later than listed above.

If you are expecting a refund, please allow 3-5 days from the disbursement date for the direct deposit to reach your bank account.
