For loan change requests:

Please use the Loan Change Form available through your MyUT Portal on the Student Tab under the ‘My Financial Aid’ heading

You cannot accept the Grad Plus loan through your My UT Portal. This loan type requires a separate application at 

If you are applying for the Grad Plus loan for a specific term, you will need to change the loan period dates on the Grad Plus loan application on The application defaults to a Fall/Spring Loan.

The loan period dates are as follows: 

Fall/Spring: Aug 2021 - May 2022 (Default) 

Summer Only: May 2021- Aug 2021

Fall Only: Aug 2021 - Dec 2021

Spring Only: Jan 2022 - May 2022 

Summer/Fall/Spring: May 2021 - May 2022 (All three terms, amount split equally)

2021-2022 Loan Disbursement Dates for Medical Students
  • M1:
    Fall: August 2, 2021
    Spring: January 10, 2022
  • M2:
    Summer: July 19, 2021
    Fall: September 13, 2021
    Spring: January 10, 2022
  • Summer Billing Information:
  • For M3's and M4's: The summer 2021 payment due date is May 7, 2021.
  • For M2's: The summer 2021 payment due date is July 9, 2021
  • For all classes: If you have enough in loans to cover your full balance due, and have accepted them through your My UT Portal and completed all other requirements, your bill will be paid on the disbursement date listed above, without penalty. If you do not plan to borrow loans to cover your full balance due, please make the required payment by the summer due date to avoid a $100 late fee on your account. Due dates for each term can be found on the Treasurer's Office webpage. 
  • M3:
    Summer: May 4, 2021
    Fall: September 20, 2021
    Spring: February 21, 2022
  • M4:
    Summer: May 4 2021
    Fall: August 16, 2021
    Spring: January 17, 2022
  • *IF you are registered for Flex Time at the beginning of any term, your aid will not disburse until you begin a course or clerkship for that term. In that case the disbursement date will be later than listed above. 
  • If you are expecting a refund, please allow 3-5 days from the disbursement date for the direct deposit to reach your bank account.
