Challenge Coin Award
Do you know a UToledo Faculty or Staff member who has gone out of their way to assist you as a military connected student?
Are you interested in recognizing their service to the UToledo military connected student population?
Are you willing to “Coin” a Faculty or Staff member who has gone out of their way to assist you?
The Military Service Center, working with the UToledo Student Veterans of America chapter, have developed the “challenge coin award” for Faculty and Staff. This student nominated award is for outstanding service to the military connected student population at UToledo. Students can find the nomination form on the Military Service Center website. All nominations are reviewed and approved by the MSC and the UToledo SVA executive board. Upon approval of the award application the SVA will work with the nominator to set up a time and location for the presentation of the “challenge coin award.”
Criteria include the following:
- Nominee must be a current employee of The University of Toledo
- Nominee’s full name, email, and department in which they work must be provided for verification purposes
- Provide a brief description of what the nominee has done to deserve the award
- Nominator must be an actively attending student or graduate of The University of Toledo
- Nominators full name, email, and phone number
