Anne earned a B.A., M.A. & Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Toledo, where she also held Post-Doctoral Research Fellow and Research Assistant Professor positions. She has over 15 years of experience in Institutional Research at the University of Toledo, Owens Community College, and the University of Michigan-Dearborn. As AVP, she provides office leadership and support.

Brigitte has a M.S. degree in Computer Science from BGSU and a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has over 15 years of experience working in Higher Education and 20 years of experience working with Oracle Databases. Her interests are in developing robust data systems, automating processes, and developing insightful ways to visualize and use data. She also serves on the Board of directors for the Alliance Française of Toledo, a local non-profit organization which fosters and promotes French culture in our regional community.

Ming joined the Institutional Research Office in 2016. He holds a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration and a Ph.D. in Educational Research and Measurement from the University of Toledo. His research areas focus on instrument development and validation, assessment, and survey research in social sciences. Within the office, he is responsible for student success reporting and analytics, survey research, and ad-hoc research requests.
Shawn Gurzynski — Programmer Analyst

Shawn earned a B.B. in Information Systems and Operations Management from the University of Toledo. He has over 20 years of experience as a programmer analyst at the University of Toledo, Owens Community College and the University of Bowling Green. As programmer analyst he supports and maintains the office’s internal data structures and processes.
Md Ayubur Rahman Khan, M.S. — Sr. Institutional Research Analyst/Statistician & Instructor

Ayubur earned his M.S. degree in Statistics from the University of Toledo. Before that, he had his undergrad in Electrical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. He is passionate about formulating problems that require understanding of true business and scientific need, properly posing the right data science question, and gathering the appropriate data for statistical modeling. Ayubur has been working as a data professional for more than 6 years playing diverse roles in Manufacturing and Higher Education domain. As a Senior Institutional Research Analyst/Statistician, he performs statistical analyses for institutional decision-making, develops and maintains dashboards and tools for internal and public stakeholders, designs and administers the IR website and many other tasks that require data wrangling.
Jason Chen — Graduate Assistant
Jason Chen holds a Bachelor's (B.S.) degree in Mathematics and Master's degree in Business Analytics. He is currently a Ph.D. student in Statistics at the University of Toledo. As a graduate assistant in institutional research, he helps with the office's projects and continues to learn how to better use different programming tools for analysis.
