Excellence in Assessment Awards
In 2013, the University Assessment Committee (UAC) established annual awards to recognize academic programs and service units that exemplify the process of assessment - those who have demonstrated growth and expansion in the efforts to gather, to review, and to use data about students' learning. In 2015, the committee expanded its award program to also highlight an academic department that exemplified excellence in support of our efforts to assess the general education curriculum.
Nominations are submitted by their respective UAC Liaisons and the UAC Awards Sub-Committee reviews all submissions for demonstrated direct links between student learning outcomes, assessment and program development.
