Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Club

Artifical Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI/ML) Club is a student-led organization dedicated to advancing knowledge and skills in artifical intelligence and machine learning.  Our mission is to provide student with opportunities to learn both foundational and advanced AI/ML concepts through engaging workshops, seminars, and practical hands-on projects.  We aim to prepare members for successful careers in AI and ML by offering resources for professional development, such as certification programs, networking opportunities, and resume-building activities.  In addition, we encourage innovation and collaboartion by hosting competitions, including AWS DeepRacer, where students can apply their learning in real world scenarios .  The goal is to foster a dynamic environment for students to grow, innovate, and make meaningful contributions to both their academic and professional communities.

The UToledo student chapter of the ACM (UT-ACM) is dedicated to promoting interdisciplinary computing, enabling professional development on campus, and promoting computer science as a profession as well as a hobby!

Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is a professional society that supports the fields of electrical and computer engineering; it is the world’s largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. The student branch at UToledo offers students opportunities for networking, expanding their knowledge of the field, getting help with classes, and learning technical and professional skills. Our meetings include technical presentations and videos on a variety of EE and CSE topics. We encourage students to get involved in our projects where they can design and build devices such as a VU meter, Tesla coil, EEG, or Traction Control System.

Rocket Hacks

At the University of Toledo, Rocket Hacks is a non-profit group dedicated to promoting innovation and developing a flourishing tech culture.  Through a series of engaging coding competitions that are hosted all year long and are intended to excite and challenge students, we hope to ignite their passion and creativity.  These activities build up to our main event, the much awaited hackathon, where the best minds unite to solve practical issues, create ground breaking concepts, and display their skills.  We hope to provide our students with unmatched chances by establish solid relationships with top tech organizations, improving their job prospects and equipping them to succeed in the rapidly changin IT industry.  Our goal is to establish a collaborative enrviroment where students from varous backgrounds can connect via their multual passion for technology, share information, and encourage those around them to grow.
