Biography

Dr. Molyet received the BSEE, MSEE and Ph.D. (ES) degrees from the University of Toledo in 1973, 1977 and 1981, respectively. He joined the faculty of the EE (now EECS) Department at the University of Toledo as an assistant professor in 1981. He served as the EE Undergraduate Program Director from 1995 – 1998 and currently serves as the EECS Undergraduate Program Director. He also served as the IEEE student branch counselor from 1984-2005.

  • University of Toledo Award for Excellence in Teaching, 2016.
  • Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department Award for Excellence in Teaching, 2009.
  • College of Engineering Award for Excellence in Teaching, 2000 and 2005.
  • IEEE-USA Professional Achievement Award, 2002.
  • Recipient of an IEEE Third Millennium Medal, 2000
  • Toledo Section of IEEE Engineer of the Year, 1997.
