Office of Student Engagement and Connection

Student Organization Mentor Resources

Student Organization Mentors who are employees of the University of Toledo serve as a link between the student organization members and the Office of Student Engagement & Connections. All student organizations must have at least one UT-employed mentor. They can also have additional, non-UT (off-campus) mentors who support them.

As important additions to the organization, mentors guide student organization members by enhancing their experience. In addition, mentors often act as confidants in both individual and organizational-related matters, rendering knowledge about the organization’s history and tradition, and providing valuable context to the operations of student organizations.
