Clinical Rotation Sites

The following is a list of sites in which Family Medicine Residents rotate:

University Toledo Medical Center

University Toledo Medical Center

All residents spend two months each year on the Family Medicine Inpatient Service. Other rotations based at UTMC include Ambulatory Peds, Community Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, GYN, Management of Health Systems, MICU, Psychiatry, and Rheumatology.

Comprehensive Care Center

Comprehensive Care Center (CCC)

The Comprehensive Care Center is where you will care for your continuity patients. In addition, in your second and third year, you will also have a continuity OB experience with the midwives. The CCC is unique in that behavioral health, a laboratory, radiology, and a pharmacy are on site.

ProMedica Toledo Hospital

ProMedica Toledo Hospital

The ProMedica Toledo Hospital is part of the ProMedica system. This Level 1 trauma center is the largest acute care hospital in the area. Rotations which are done here are Cardiology, OB, Neurology, Newborn Nursery, and Radiology.

ProMedica Russell J. Ebeid Children’s Hospital

The ProMedica Russell J. Ebeid Children's Hospital caters to the needs of infants, children and adolescents in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. Rotations which are done here are Pediatric Inpatient and Pediatric Emergency Medicine.

 

Rotations not listed under UTMC, ProMedica Toledo Hospital, or ProMedica Children's Hospital are done at private offices staffed by ProMedica physicians.
