Cardio Drumming classes are the perfect way to rock out while you improve your cardiovascular fitness. Functional Fitness is a brand new class format! Join us to build strength, power, and endurance using diverse equipment and exercises designed to help you feel stronger in every day life. Class location is the X-Create Area located between the basketball courts close to the Fitness Studio at the Student Rec Center.
MX4 training combines the four pillars of fitness: cardio, power, strength and endurance for a full-body workout. MX4 utilizes the Connexus functional training system, various cardio equipment, and other resistance training equipment to provide a well-rounded workout.
RocketCycle is a high-intensity indoor cycling class that is the ultimate calorie burner. Ride the hills, crush sprints, and complete other cycle skills as you increase your cardio endurance while strengthening your body and mind.
Strength Circuits is a full-body resistance training class designed to teach proper form of various exercises. Build strength and build community in this circuit training class.
Turn Up Dance Fitness encourages participants to evolve unapologetically, live loudly, and dance ruthlessly in a fun, upbeat dance fitness cardio class. Routines are pre-choreographed and designed for participants to follow along easily. Classes led by a fierce instructor leaving you feeling confident, strong, and ready to take on the world.
Yoga is an individual practice where all judgment, competition, and expectations are let go. The focus is internal, connecting the breath to the mind and body through various poses, stretches, flows, and relaxation sections to improve flexibility, mindfulness, and develop a stronger mind-body connection. Check out Gentle Yoga for a slower paced yoga practice. Try Yoga Flow or Pilates for a power-based yoga practice.
Zumba® is perfect for everybody and every body! Each Zumba® class is designed to bring people together to sweat it on. We take the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning latin and world rhythms dance fitness party. A total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class.
