Working in partnership with the university to help provide engaging, student-centered, recreational services and health promotions to enhance the well-being of the University of Toledo Community. In addition, provides leadership and direction in all programming areas of the department, which includes Aquatics, Operations, Camps, Challenge, Competitive Sports, Wellness, Fitness, and Special Events, with specific duties in the area of Club Sports and direction of the department’s student employee training and development area. |

Nancy Burhans, M.Ed. — Assistant Director, Facilities Operations419.530.3705 The primary function of this position is to provide leadership and direction in all daily functions of the operations of the facilities managed by the department which includes the Student Recreation Center, Carter Field(s) and Health Education Center. Work directly with campus Facility Management to maintain clean and safe facilities which includes maintenance and custodial needs of all UToledo Rec Facilities. |

Jacob Rasmussen, M.A. — Coordinator, Aquatics & Challenge419.530.3719 The primary function of this position is to provide coordination, planning, and supervision of all Aquatics Operations, Programs, and Safety Education of the department, which includes CPR/First Aid Courses, Lifeguard Instructor Courses, Lifeguard Courses and training for department personnel. The Challenge area includes, Climbwall, Slackline, High Ropes, Log Rolling and Team Building. |

Also, to provide leadership and direction for The University of Toledo Varsity Esports program. |
