Interviewing SUCCESS

In this interactive session we will explore the medical school interview from the perspective both of the applicant and the admissions committee. What are the types of medical school interview—panel, traditional, Multiple Mini Interview, other—and what are the best ways to prepare for each of them? What are interviewers looking for during the interview encounter? What are the aspects of an application that increase the chances of an applicant being invited for an interview—and what are the aspects of an interview that increase the chances of an applicant being accepted to medical school? For UT specifically, what role does the medical school interview play in helping us select a cohort of individuals with the potential to meet our College of Medicine and Life Sciences (COMLS) mission and goals—which includes meeting the future healthcare workforce needs of our region?

The session will be Tuesday, April 24, 2018
6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. in Mulford Library Building Annex Room 140 on the UT Health Science Campus.
