Capstone projects and research experiences.

As an Honors student, you’ll attain greater mastery of the subject matter in your specific major and program through special projects or activities. These could be clinical experiences, lab or field work, research assignments, creative works or something you and your professors develop together.

The Honors College also houses UToledo’s Office of Undergraduate Research, which allows students to engage in hands-on research early in their academic careers. UToledo Honors students have even been the lead authors of published research papers, an opportunity rarely afforded other undergraduates.
