diversity, equity, and inclusion

Diversity is a core value on our campus.
The University of Toledo — and the Jesup Scott Honors College — is committed to the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion in all that we do.
We recognize the strength that comes from experiences and points of view that differ from our own. We know the importance of learning how to constructively share these differing perspectives. This philosophy is embedded in the design of our courses and the extracurricular activities we offer. Through this, the Honors College actively fosters community engagement between our students and multicultural communities in Toledo.
We recognize that to have different voices in the JSHC, we must recruit students with those voices and provide an atmosphere that is welcoming and supportive of them.
