Regular Acceptance

The UToledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences participates in the American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS) program. Processing of preliminary (AMCAS) applications begins in mid-July.

On the basis of the data provided in the AMCAS application, we invite applicants to submit a UToledo secondary application. The deadline to submit secondary application is December 15.

Reviews of primary and secondary applications to determine interview eligibility begins in August, with interview invitations sent on a rolling basis through March or April of each matriculation year.

BAcc2MD Program

The BACC2MD program is The University of Toledo's early medical school pathway program offered to high-metric high school students, providing them the opportunity for an early interview with The University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences M.D. program. Learn more about the BACC2MD program.

M.S.B.S. - Medical Sciences

The primary goal of this program is to educate and train graduate students who have completed all prerequisites required for medical school but wish to enhance their understanding of the biological sciences and potentially improve their academic credentials for applying to medical school.  Approximately 50 students are accepted into this one year program.  Historically 65 to 80 percent have been successful in matriculating into a medical class the following year. The MedStart Program

MEDStart is an early assurance program designed to accept students during their junior year of their undergraduate education. The program allows students to enroll into The University of Toledo's College of Medicine program for the next academic year following completion of the four-year baccalaureate education.
