Disability History Archive
The Regional Disability History Archive: Documenting the Historical Experience of the Disabled in Northwest Ohio is housed in The University of Toledo Ward M. Canaday Center in the Disability History Archive.
The Ward M. Canaday Center for Special Collections received the Association of Specialized and Cooperative Library Agencies/National Organization on Disability Award. The Ward M. Canaday Center for Special Collections earned this recognition for their Regional Disability History Archive Project, an effort to chronicle the work of various organizations that have served people with disabilities in northwestern Ohio. This annual award is administered by the National Organization on Disability’s National Partnership Program and is sponsored by Aetna, Inc.
