Rane Arroyo
Dr. Rane Arroyo is a professor of Creative Writing and author of eight books of poetry, including the Ciardi Prize Poetry Winner, The Portable Famine, and The Buried Sea:  New & Selected Poems.  His book of short stories is How To Name A Hurricane.   He teaches creative writing and literature and is a Board Member/Vice President for The Association of Writers and Writing Programs (AWP).  Arroyo is on sabbatical from Fall 2008 to Spring 2009.
