RE: College Convocation
The College of Arts and Sciences will host a Convocation on Saturday, May 3, at 9:00 a.m. We will recognize Fall 2007 and Spring and Summer 2008 graduates. This event will take place before the University Commencement ceremony, scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 2008, in the University of Toledo Glass Bowl.
The Arts and Sciences Convocation will be held in the Auditorium, located on the third floor of the University of Toledo Student Union. We will recognize each graduate individually, including doctoral candidates who will be hooded by their graduate advisors.
Academic regalia is required. All graduates should arrive at the Ingman Room on the second floor of the Student Union by 8:15 a.m. to line up and process to the Auditorium.
To participate in the Convocation you must first apply to graduate (go to http://www.utoledo.edu/offices/registrar/main%5Fcampus/graduation.html) for more information. Students may still register to participate in the College of Arts and Sciences Convocation at 3160 University Hall, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. weekdays. Only overflow seating is available for guests.
