The Business Ethics and Social Policy Program
Experts work with students and members of the business community to explore the finer
points of ethics, social responsibility and public policy.
Executive Center for Global Competitiveness (ECGC)
Companies in the know go to this center to fulfill their business needs. The ECGC
provides a portfolio of learning and consultative services for small to large enterprises
in the northwest Ohio area.
Center for Family & Privately-Held Business
The center staff members put on informative and social programming for family businesses
and support networking efforts amongst these types of companies.
Edward H. Schmidt School of Professional Sales
The school was established in 2002 to focus on the growing need for sales education
and research.
Global Business Development Institute
Consistently ranked among the top programs in the United States, the GBDI has generated
millions in external funding and has helped local agencies attract direct foreign
investment.
International Trade Assistance Center
The ITAC will provide export assistance to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)
in Northwest Ohio to promote growth through exports. The goal of the ITAC is to connect
Ohioans with international markets and to ensure that they know how to attract and
flourish with foreign business opportunities. In addition to working in collaboration
with our colleagues at the U.S. Commercial Service, the ITAC at the University of
Toledo provides access to resources of the school through its faculty, student and
professional resources.
The Center for Technological Entrepreneurship and Innovation
Through faculty-directed student consulting teams, CTEI helps develop new and existing
technological entrepreneurial ventures at the University and in the community.
The School of Healthcare Business Innovation and Excellence
Bringing its recognized expertise to this environment, The University of Toledo College
of Business and Innovation (COBI) in partnership with the College of Medicine and
Life Sciences has taken a leadership role in establishing the new School of Healthcare
Business Innovation and Excellence. Through research, community engagement, and educational
endeavors, this School serves as the premier resource for directly impacting quality
healthcare delivery by applying knowledge in the areas of information technology,
operations and supply chain management, human resources, leadership development, and
more.
