Beautiful and historic Doermann Theatre was built in 1931. This facility is used by the Department of Music, the Department of Theater and Film, and various University and non-university groups. Located in University Hall on the main campus of The University of Toledo, Doermann Theatre is a fully mediated space which includes projection equipment and two large screens on either side of the stage area, as well as professional sound and lighting equipment. This space is also handicapped accessible and includes two lifts into the theatre seating area as well as a lift to the stage. The Theatre was remodeled in 2013 and seats about 600.
NOTE: The lots listed below are not ticketed ONLY on weekends and during UT sponsored concerts and events which will utilize these lots. Parking in these lots at other times may result in a ticket!
The nearest parking to Doermann and University Hall is Area 13. Nearest handicapped parking is in Area 14 (between McKinnon and the Memorial Fieldhouse) and in the lots next to Tucker Hall and behind Libbey Hall. Tucker and Libbey are west of University Hall on Bancroft. All of these parking areas are reached by using Campus Drive just off Bancroft.
Additional parking is available in Areas 1S, 1N and 2. These are the lots that are east of University Hall and can be reached from North Towerview Blvd., just off Bancroft.
