Main Campus
Condensate Line Between Bowman-Oddy and Law Center to Cause Road Closure January 24th
and 25th
The intersection of West Towerview Boulevard and West Rocket Drive will be closed
in all directions
Thursday, January 24 and Friday, January 25 while an underground condensate line is
replaced.
Recommended Alternate Routes:
For Lot 13, West Ramp Parking Garage, Bowman-Oddy Laboratories and Wolfe Hall
please enter campus at the Campus Road entrance off of Bancroft Street.
For access to the Law Center, Center for Performing Arts, Main Campus Medical Center,
A House, I House, Sullivan Hall and parking areas 12 and 26,
please access campus from the College Drive (Rocket Hall) entrance off of Secor Road.
A map has been provided for your convenience.

Underground Work to Begin on Monday, January 28th to Connect
Student Rec Center Swimming Pools to Cogeneration Plant
Work will begin on Monday, January 28th to connect the swimming pools in the Student
Rec Center to the cogeneration plant at the University Computer Center. This may require
brief traffic stops however access and service to both buildings will be maintained
and there will be no road closures.

Health Science Campus
Interprofessional Immersive Simulation Center (IISC) to Close Sidewalks until Jan.
2014

Beginning Monday, August 20th, the Transverse Drive sidewalks will close for construction until approximately Wednesday, January 1, 2014. It is recommended that all faculty, staff, students and visitors access Block Health Science and the Center for Creative Education buildings through the Wolfe Center or the Collier Building. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this phase of construction. |
Medical Arts and Wellness Center
A construction project tot enclose the outside plaza between Health Education Building
and the Orthopedics Center and between the Orthopedics Center and Dowling Hall on
the UT Health Science Campus will require the closure of a number of walkways and
doors through the end of the year.
Construction will begin on Monday, July 30th closing the exterior walkway between
Health Education and the Orthopedic Center as well as the exterior doors on the west
side of the Health Education building and both exterior doors to the connector to
Dowling Hall and the orthopedic Center. The main entrance to the Orthopedic Center
will remain open and a temporary entrance to Dowling Hall will be created across from
that entrance.
Additional closures are planned starting Aug. 6, including doors on the first and
second floors that connect the Health Education Building to Dowling Hall through the
atrium. The second floor walkway from the UT Medical Center also will be closed at
the atrium connector between Health Education and Dowling Hall.
Construction is scheduled to be completed in March 2013
