Scholarships and Awards for Current Graduate Students
NSF GK-12 Graduate Student Fellowship
NSF GK-12 program has openings for the 2012-2013 academic year. The program "Graduate Fellows in High School STEM education: An Environmental Science Learning Community at the Land-Lake Ecosystem Interface", partners eight advanced graduate students at the University of Toledo with eight teachers and their students at area high schools.
Applications are invited by M.S. and Ph.D. level graduate students. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and preference will be given to Ohio residents. More information about this program can be found HERE.
Robert R. Buell Memorial Achievement Award (1 award)
Presented to a graduate student in any college who best exemplifies scholarly excellence in the physical and biological sciences, has maintained a genuine interest in the social sciences and the humanities, and plans a career in education. The award recipient will receive a certificate plus a cash award. The amount varies each year depending upon available funds. Click HERE to apply.
Helen M. Fields Memorial Achievement Award (1 award)
Presented to a graduate student with an excellent academic record in the field of English or Education. The award recipient will receive a certificate plus a cash award. The amount varies each year depending upon available funds. Click HERE to apply.
Robert N. Whiteford Memorial Scholarship (1 award)
