What are your career goals?
My professional goals are to represent clients of marginalized populations, educate the community and advocate for policy advancement as a victim advocate.

What motivated you to purse a legal career?
My aim to practice public interest law stems from my passion to serve and uplift underrepresented and marginalized communities. I earned my Master’s Degree in Social Work and much of my education focused on issues surrounding vulnerable populations. Throughout the course of my studies, I frequently saw those in need of social work services interacting with the criminal justice system so I decided to pursue a law degree in an effort to provide holistic, empathetic legal services to clients who need it most.

Favorite Class/Professor(s)
Family Law with Professor Knouse was such a great class! I learned so much about the complexity of family law and we had many engaging discussions on a variety of topics including divorce, child custody, non-traditional families, spousal support etc. Highly recommended!!

Thoughts on Toledo
Toledo is a great place to go to law school! I’ve found many great restaurants and places to hang out here. Even as a commuter student, I still find time to explore new places with my friends and it’s never a dull moment.

Personal Interests
Cooking, reading, kickboxing, hiking, and Michigan football.
