Richard Aldington, 1892-1962

Images (1915)

PR6001.L4 I3 1915

As a leading imagist and editor of The Egoist magazine, Aldington’s first collection is of important historical value. The year of this book’s publication also marks Aldington and H.D.’s move away from Ezra Pound (partly due to a strained relationship).

Images of War (1919)

PR6001.L4 I35 1919

This book is one of only 30 copies that was printed on Japanese vellum and signed by the poet. The book was printed by hand and was written just after Aldington served on the Western front in World War I.
