My personal goal for the University Teaching Center is that it will become a useful resource for faculty and that they will visit often – both our website as well as the UTC itself located in UH5120. I hope that the teaching center will be regarded as a resource for faculty at all levels – those who are new to our faculty and developing a syllabus and their teaching and student assessment strategies for the first time as well as faculty who are interesting in integrating new techniques or technologies into their already developed courses.
The UTC is a resource for you..our faculty members. I welcome suggestions or ideas regarding how the center can better support our educational mission, please let me know. I look forward to meeting my colleagues across campus and working with them to support and foster our educational mission.

The University Teaching Center (UTC) is a resource for UT faculty. The UTC seeks to promote excellence and innovation in teaching. It works to create a culture which values and rewards activities that enhance instruction, and ultimately, students’ learning.
