M.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences
The College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences offers the master of science in pharmaceutical sciences degree with program options in pharmacology/toxicology, industrial pharmacy and pharmacy and healthcare administration.
Industrial Pharmacy
The Industrial Pharmacy option at The University of Toledo College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is to prepare students to assume pharmaceutical manufacturing positions performing a variety of specialized tasks including preformulation evaluation, dosage form design, stability testing, pilot plant scale-up and production.
Health Outcomes and Socioeconomic Sciences (formerly Pharmacy Health Care Administration)
The overall objective of the Health Outcomes and Socioeconomic Sciences option at The University of Toledo College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is to develop, store, and disseminate information which could serve as a basis for decisions concerning the effectiveness and efficiency of pharmaceutical care. Health Outcomes and Socioeconomic Sciences is the pharmaceutical science focusing on managerial, economic, financial, legal, and behavioral concepts and principles involved in providing pharmaceutical services to patients.
Pharmacology/Toxicology
The Department of Pharmacology graduate program offers the M.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences within the fields of Pharmacology and Toxicology. The program provides training for careers in research and development within the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, in governmental regulatory agencies and environmental toxicology. Training in the pharmaceutical sciences also serves as a gateway for entry into doctoral programs.
