2013 Race for a Cause

 

5K run and 3K walk

                                            

Please Join The University of Toledo’s  J.D. Michaels Physician Assistant Student Society (SAAAPA)for a family friendly fundraiser supporting The Friendly Center. 

 The Friendly Center is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization providing hot meals, community education, children’s programing, and basic supplies to the Toledo community.  They have been serving this community since 1923.  Current missions include: Bank on Toledo - a financial education program, a hygiene closet, emergency food supplies, a free diabetes fitness class, a hot meals program, and Project Success - youth programing that includes tutoring, after-school programing, and summer enrichment.

Check-in and Day of Registration begin at 7:45am in front of Mulford Library

Registration Fees:

EARLY REGISTRATION

$20.00 before September 14th for participants 15 and older

$10.00 before September 14th for participants 14 and under

 

LATE REGISTRATION

**No Shirt Guaranteed

$25.00 from September 14-28th for participants 15 and older

$15.00 before September 14-28th for participants 14 and under

  

Registration fees include participation in the event, and an event tee-shirt in the size of your choosing.  Late registration participants may receive a shirt depending on availability, but there is no guarantee. You may register and pay via mail or online.

 We will also be holding a hygiene item drive.  If you would like to donate, please bring male and female hygiene products to the race, and drop them in the collection bins near check-in. 

 

 Awards will be given for the top male and female in each age category 

We will be having a raffle at the event, so feel free to bring cash or checks to the event.
