The Resident Student Association welcomes all students to experience one of the largest campus traditions! Come paint the rock, have fun with glow sticks & NRHH will provide s'mores! WXUT and Blue Crew will keep you entertained all night!

Stop by any of our welcome station launch pads for information and free stuff throughout the day. UT staff, faculty and administrators will be on hand to answer any question you may encounter on your first day of classes.

Personal Safety and Self-Defense (6-8 pm)
Health Education Center - Gym
Personal Safety and Self-Defense class open to all University of Toledo students, faculty, and staff. Attendees will learn personal safety tips for home, office, school, or out and about as well as self-defense tactics in a safe and comfortable setting. Attendees should wear comfortable clothing & tennis shoes,  are encouraged to stretch and hydrate, and must sign a liability release form for participation.

Basketball and Tennis Courts (South side of McComas Village)
Meet, greet, educate, engage, eat pizza, and have fun with the individual departments that make up the Office of Public Safety. An up close and personal view of our equipment, programs, training and staff. Our departments include UT Police, HSC Security, Support Services, and Radiation Safety and Health. The program will include pizza, display tables from each area, public safety vehicles, and basketball or tennis against the Office of Public Safety staff.

"A.L.I.C.E" (Alert Lockdown Inform Counter Evacuate) - Open Forum (12-1:30 pm)
Health-Science Campus - Center for Creative Instruction room #0111
The objective of A.L.I.C.E. is to teach the student how to be a participant in their own survival and lead others to safety. The A.L.I.C.E. Program provides mental and physical tools that could play a vital role in survival to those who find themselves in a potentially life-threatening situation of an active shooter or violent intruder. Attendance vouchers will be provided.
