Adult Students are classified as students who have never been to college before, or who have under 8 semester hours or 12 quarter hours from a regionally accredited institution, or who have a GED. A transfer student is one who has 8 or more semester hours (12 or more quarter hours) attempted at another regionally accredited college or university after high school graduation.
