The Friends of Music exists to nurture excellence among UT music students, and the work of the organization is truly an ensemble effort. The Friends of Music is an association of UT alumni, parents, and friends who support the music department through fundraising and by volunteering to assist with special events (receptions, ushering, ticket sales, etc.) Donations to the Friends of Music support scholarships, music instrument purchases, and capital improvements within the department.
