The College of Business Administration was established in 1930 and is currently the largest professional college on the campus of The University of Toledo. It is also one of only 451 business colleges around the world to receive accreditation from The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International). We take great pride in our student-friendly atmosphere and our state-of-the-art technology. The College currently houses four 24-hour computer labs, including a virtual lab where students can work with a laptop outside the confines of a laboratory. All classrooms are multi-mediated and equipped with the latest wireless technology. Our enrollment has steadily increased over the last six years, and the College is currently at its highest enrollment since its inception, with approximately 3300 students, across all degree levels. Students in the College participate to a high degree in the many and varied College and University activities and organizations available on campus. We house our own Business Careers Programs office which assists in placing students in both internship and permanent career positions. Currently, we work with over 500 companies and we take great pride in stating that we have an 80% placement rate upon graduation of those students seeking employment. Our very qualified faculty and staff are here to provide the very best well-rounded college experience for our students, both in and out of the classroom. The faculty bring relevance to the classroom and continuously advance the state-of-the-art knowledge about various topics/issues by translating their cutting-edge research contributions into classroom illustrations. It is our philosophy to continuously strive for excellence in our programs and services and we are excited about what the future holds for the College. Our academic departments work closely with our award-winning Family Business Center, the Schmidt School of Professional Sales, and the International Business Institute to provide the best opportunities to our students, the University and the business community. Our faculty continue to bring international exposure to the College of Business due to their worldwide reputations in their respective disciplines.
