Student Competitions and Scholarships
Each year various universities, professional organizations, and companies sponsor and host sales competitions and scholarships. Below is a list of the current opportunities. You must be a professional sales major to apply for the competitions and scholarships.
ESSPS Sales Competition Team
As a member of UT’s sales competition team, you will be eligible to participate in premier sales competitions throughout the school year. The purpose of the competitions is to build the profession, secure jobs, and create more relationships with sales practitioners and academia.

Required Commitment:
- You must be available to go to at least one of the Competitions on the Competition dates.
- You should be willing to commit to background preparation and a rigorous, active practice schedule
To Apply:
Interested Professional Sales Majors should download and complete the membership application. Submit all application material no later than Monday, November 30th.
Sales faculty will review all applications and invite a limited number of students by December 4 to compete locally at a UT sales competition role playoff. Those students invited to compete will be provided a sales case (buyer profile), evaluation criteria, and information on the product to be sold - NetSuite CRM (www.netsuite.com), in order to prepare for the local competition.
The role playoff will be held on January 15, 2010
