Corporate Partners
The Edward H. Schmidt School of Professional Sales (ESSPS) in the College of Business & Innovation at The University of Toledo wants to leverage our closest business community relationships to advance our professional sales program. To continue to build on the outstanding work already being done, the ESSPS has Corporate Partners who provide financial support for the continued development of our outstanding professional sales program.
ESSPS Corporate Partners can expect to receive valuable benefits over their three year commitment to the ESSPS:
Creates unique and powerful awareness with our 300+ professional sales students:
-
Enhance awareness and interest with students by communicating to them using the Recruiter Catalog (NEW), a 24/7 virtual career fair where sales students can view branded recruiter videos to learn more about sales careers at various organizations. Links to online applications and web sites are provided as well as polling and question submission that can be directed to the recruiter’s contact person/email of choice
- Augment and streamline your sales talent pipeline at exclusive events (ie: Networking Night and UT Invitational Sales Competition; number of recruiters
and ad size depends on partnership level) attended by only professional sales majors,
minors, pre-sales majors, and MBA concentrations
- Lower the risk associated with succession planning by recruiting students who build stronger relationships and trust, understand how an enterprise functions, have a lower probability of turnover, are quicker to produce tangible sales results, and are more likely to adopt technology
- Expand your brand’s audience with invited access to professional sales students as a classroom Guest Lecturer (guaranteed invitations for gold and platinum partners only) and publicized recognition to students and business partners in the ESSPS event programs and website
Helps you pre-screen candidates:
- Make confident and educated sales talent recruitment decisions by using the Role Play Catalog (NEW) to watch student role plays online and see the quality, coachability, and growth
- Build a targeted pipeline with the Elevator Pitch Catalog (NEW) to view 2 minute online videos on the seniors on when they graduate, what they bring to the table, and why they would be a good candidate to hire or pursue
- Save time and travel expense and improve internal coordination with the Interview Catalog (NEW) to securely stream and archive interviews. Submit questions live, review candidates after a long day, and get second opinions from other colleagues
- Lower labor costs and find students who match your organization’s goals and culture by using ESSPS students in the Sales Associate Internship Program
Supports strategic alignment:
- Align the sales education needs of your organization with the ESSPS by sharing your insight on the ESSPS Advisory Board
- Learn from sharing challenges and best practices at an interactive half day summit for executives only (number of seats depends on partnership level)
Promotes sales organization development:
- Reinforce your company’s training by sending members of your sales team to the Sales Symposium (number of seats depends on partnership level)
- Supplement sales development with training programs, workshops, speaking engagements, assessments, and more that are designed and delivered by the expert ESSPS faculty and staff (discounts provided and vary by partner level)
- Augment existing products/services and/or create new streams with no overhead expense and technology to maintain by renting our state-of-the-art facilities (NEW, discounts provided and vary by partner level)
- Increase your sales reference resources to include best practice books, videos, and other materials in the Paychex Sales Resource Center
- Verify existing methods and identify new methods for improving the effectiveness of sales strategies with pre-publication access to ESSPS research
