The M.B.A. specialization in Human Resource Management is designed for those persons who have human resource responsibilities within their general management scope. Both for-profit and not-for-profit managers will benefit from this specialization. The Ph.D. specialization is most appropriate for doctoral students who intend to be practitioners or higher education professionals in business, education, engineering, law, pharmacy, medicine, and other disciplines. Students will be required to take HURM 6700 unless they possess an undergraduate degree inhuman resource management from an AACSB-accredited business school or they have taken and passed the Professional in Human Resource (PHR) or Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification exam given by the HRCI. If any of these apply to you, then you may take any three other courses from the "Elective Courses" list. For additional information or advising, contact Dr. Dale Dwyer, (419) 530-4059.
