Adventure Fridays
Check in for class or program in Tucker Hall Room 0168 These experience based classes and programs are for the adventurous-at-heart. Pre-registration is required for participation. If applicable, full payment is required prior to attending the selected class or program. Scholarships are available on a limited basis. Participants will be required to sign an informed risk waiver. Call 419.530.8570 for more information or to register. Register early, space is limited.
Self Defense for Women (Offered twice this semester)
Friday, February 8 1 - 2:30 p.m.
Friday, April 5 1 - 2:30 p.m.
UT Police Officer Jill Goldberg facilitates this self-defense session specifically
designed for women. Participants will learn about ways to become more alert and aware
of their surroundings and techniques of defending oneself against an attacker. Wear
comfortable athletic clothing and shoes.

High Ropes Course
Friday, February 15 1 - 4 p.m.
UT’s high ropes course provides a unique opportunity for team building and personal
challenge. Participants will meet at the Eberly Center for Women at 1 p.m. and make
the journey to the Student Recreation Center together.

Toledo Museum of Art Guided Tour
Friday, March 15 1 - 4 p.m.
Join the Eberly Center staff as we take a guided tour of the world famous Toledo Museum
of Art. The tour will highlight key works of art by women and art that speaks directly
to women. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Participants will meet at the Eberly Center
at 1 p.m. to take a chartered bus together.

Golf 101 — A Clinic for Non-Golfers
Friday, April 19 Noon - 4 p.m.
Fore! Bogey and Slice…What do these terms have to do with golf? This adventure is
specifically designed to help non-golfers and beginner golfers learn country club
etiquette, basic golf terminology and the fundamentals of how the game is played and
scored. Emily Hardcastle, Eberly Center staffer and avid golfer will facilitate this
program at a local country club. Wear comfortable shoes. Participants will meet at
the Eberly Center at noon to take a chartered bus together.
