    Job: 994862  Manager of Assessment, Learning Collaborative & Student Affairs:

    This position directs and oversees assessment initiatives and data management to implement the Division of Student Affairs and the Learning Collaborative strategic and assessment plans.  This position will also provide consulting support to administrators and staff of Student Affairs and the Learning Collaborative to ensure best practice of assessment and program delivery regarding such complex issues as student engagement, student success and student retention.  The position will conduct quantitative and qualitative research to support the two division’s decision making regarding assessment initiatives and strategic plan metrics for these two divisions.  The position goes beyond simple data accumulation and creation of reports; the position will provide recommendations as to the programming of both divisions through advanced statistical analysis and interpretation.  Salary commensurate with education and experience.

    Master’s Degree in social science field, higher education or related field and three years relevant research experience to include analysis of information to measurable outcomes is required.  Preferred qualifications include: demonstrated knowledge in the areas of assessment, retention and program evaluation; demonstrated knowledge in quantitative and qualitative research methods, research design and statistical analysis; presentation and writing data reports, including visual presentations of data, tailored to the intended audience; project management within an education institution; knowledge of key issues and concepts in higher education; ability to work collaboratively with administrators, faculty and staff; computer competency on various software packages and applications.
