Team Policing -- Unit 618
A University of Toledo police officer and a City of Toledo police Officer partner to create a team policing unit, otherwise known as unit 618. The unit has been keeping the Bancroft Hills and Secor Gardens neighborhood safer for both students and permanent residence since 1994. During the academic year, the team policing unit is on duty Tuesday through Saturday, 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. The crew is dispatched through the Toledo Police Department. Unit 618 and can be reached by dialing 911 for emergencies or 419.936.2000 for non-emergencies.
