Personal Computers and Software

Online students will need access to a personal computer (Windows, Mac or Linux) and an Internet connection. The University's Information Technology department provides opportunities for savings on hardware and software, including:

    • Apple computers and products
    • Dell computers and products
    • Adobe software packages
    • Microsoft software packages 

Please visit the IT site for the University's recommended hardware and software specifications for all student laptops and desktops as well as sources for discounted software and computer equipment purchases (personal purchases.)

While our help desk staff, 866-886-5336, can offer some technical support, students are ultimately responsible for the proper functioning of their own equipment. Our University IT help desk staff is available 24/7 at 419-530-2400, to provide assistance.
