Master’s in Career and Technical Education
The Master’s Degree Program is designed for students interested in extending their proficiency in teaching, adding endorsements to their licenses, or pursuing an administrative license as a Vocational Director. It is the belief of the faculty in this academic area that the responsibility for planning and completing the program rests primarily with the graduate student. However, an advisor from the program faculty will be available to assist with the planning process.
Students with an interest in career - technical education should observe certain requirements in pursuit of a master’s degree. Generally, the course of study will include three areas within the required 36 semester hours. The three areas are the:
(1) basic (core) requirements (12 hours),

(3) thesis, project, or administrative practicum (3 hours). -
