How to Setup WebXtender User Settings
The first time you log into WebX, it is recommended that you check your personal settings for the application. Click the appropriate tabs to select the settings needing changes. Suggested changes listed below are recommended but are not required.
- Click "Edit".
- Select "User Settings".
- Click on "Search/Result Set" tab.
- Check "Display Documents in Separate Popup Window".
- Uncheck "Automatically open document if query yields one result.".
- In the Limit Search Size area it is recommended to change the following settings:
- Change"Limit Query Results Page Size" from 10 records to 25.
- Click on the "Document View" tab. (Optional)
- Check the box to "Show Page Thumbnails" if you want small pictures of the pages of the documents you bring up to view.
- Click on the "Interactive Viewer" tab.
- UNCHECK "Enable
Interactive Viewer" if you are NOT USING Internet Explorer.
This is important to view documents.
- UNCHECK "Enable
Interactive Viewer" if you are NOT USING Internet Explorer.
- Click on the "Save" button.
