WebXtender Glossary of Terms
| Application: | A system within WebX. There is a production system (GRADSTURECS) and a test system (TGRADSTURECS). | |
| Approval: | The second page of the Decision Page that has the approving authority stamp. The login name and date will automatically be entered on the stamp. | |
| Attachment: | A supplementary document that is attached to a primary document. | |
| Calendar Box: | Used to
select a specific date.

| Criteria: | Selection values used to search on a query. | |
| Decision Page: | Documents that are reviewed by a college or department for approval. | |
| Drop Down: | List of predefined choices for a value that you can choose from by clicking on the down arrow. | |
| Hyperlink: | An element in an electronic document that links to another place in the same document or to an entirely different document. | |
| Indexing: | Attaching a specific document to a specific student or making updates to a specific student document by department faculty. | |
| List of Queries: | A drop down list of all the available pre-written queries that can be used to select various students/documents by specific. | |
| Logout Key: | Used to logout of
the WebXtender Application.

| Private: | Characteristic of a query. Private means that a query is NOT available to all users for use. | |
| Public: | Characteristic of a query. Public means that a query is available for all users to select and use. | |
| Query: | A request for all students matching specific selection criteria. | |
| Result Field: | Data field that you want to display in the query results. | |
| Search List: | ||
| Search Range: | Used to
specify a range of criteria values to be used in query.

| User Settings: | Collection of individual settings for a particular WebX user that is logged into WebX. |
