WebXtender Tips and Tricks
Below are WebXtender Application Tips and Tricks that have been submitted by University of Toledo Graduate Faculty and Staff.
General

- WebX is NOT case sensitive
- Departments are permitted to index decision pages ONLY.
- Anyone given prior approval by the College of Graduate Studies can do indexing. These individuals must be trained and understand the system before authorization to WebX will be approved.
- Use UTAD username and password.
- Logout of WebX using the key icon (
) in the upper left
corner.
- Put an asterisk in any fields that will help to narrow your search. For example, "MA*" in the Student Name field will return all documents for individuals with names starting with "MA" (i.e., MASTERS, MAHONEY, MALLICK).
- Use student name field ONLY when you know a SIS record is available otherwise use pre-app name.
- Using the asterisk before and after Student Name will also assist in locating the student documents.(i.e., *master*)
- Occurs after 20 minutes of inactivity.
