Concentration in Operations Management

Specialization in operations management provides the student with the decision-making and problem-solving skills required for managing people and resources more effectively, whether in manufacturing firms, service industries, nonprofit organizations or government operations.

Required courses:

• OPMT 6680 – Total Quality Management and SPC
• OPMT 6690 – Manufacturing Resources Management

And one of the following:

·        OPMT 6100 – Time Series Analysis & Forecasting

·        OPMT 6270 – Computer Simulation

·        OPMT 6510 – Project Management

·        OPMT 6720 – Manufacturing Systems Design

·        OPMT 6930 – Contemporary Topics Seminar
