    Program Overview
    The Master’s and Education Specialist Programs  in Elementary and Early Childhood Education reflect the latest in theory, research, and practice to help teachers become more effective in the classroom. Faculty in Elementary & Early Childhood Education are nationally-recognized scholars who work with graduate students on various projects, papers, and grants and are active in schools and agencies at the local, state, and national levels.

    Of Special Interest
    Both an Ed.D. and a Ph.D. in Elementary and Early Childhood Education are offered.

    Curriculum Information

    1. The Master of Education in Elementary and Early Childhood Education is a 36-hour program.
    2. The Education Specialist Degree requires 32 hours of course work beyond the Master’s Degree.
    3. The Ed.D. and Ph.D. programs have an impressive track record for placing students in research and teaching positions in colleges and universities, school districts, and state agencies.
