INFORMATION FROM GRADUATES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF TOLEDO ARMY ROTC BATTALION:
Received 28 Jul 08 from 2LT Staiger " I thought I would share a few thought on BOLC II for the Cadets in the Rocket Battalion. I have completed BOLC II and will be starting my BOLC III course tomorrow. BOLC II was a great familiarization course. At least for me with no prior military experience I was able to use different equipment during operations I had never used before such as NVGs, M4, the 240 and 249. The only additional training I think would be beneficial for the Cadets prior to graduation is to conduct convey operations. Room clearing and conveys were a big portion of the operations we conducted during this course due to the COE. BOLC II was also good to make connections with other officers in all branches of the Army."
